  4. Dec 10,  · I second the review of popdiggers. Orphan Egg were a musically absolutely competent band. In all genres or styles they had really good songs to offer. I also think the problem was that the band went in too many directions. I really enjoy the album and can only recommend it to everyone. Enjoy.(Frank) Flac [email protected]

  6. Orphan Egg's only LP is a pretty nice mix of psychedelic pop/rock and some quite heavy fuzz guitar driven stuff. The album also includes some blues rock style like their version of "Rock Me Baby" proves. Most of the time this record sounds pretty good and enjoyable but the material is a bit unbalanced.
  7. Orphan Egg - Orphan Egg () In , the Orphan Egg did a an selftitled album. this is the first track of it and maybe the highlight along the other 11 tracks. Fine psychedelic Rock with a bit echoing voices, some fuzz and a really psychedelic atmosphere.
  8. This San Jose band earned themselves a record deal through a Vox Battle of the Bands, resulting in what’s occasionally being referred to as “a rather disappointing LP”, which I strongly disagree with.
